Rummikub is a card game with both the luck and the skill, like other card games. A beginner can plays this game with a lot of the luck without particular strategy. This way can be fun but it is not very competitive game. Players who with the particular strategy play the game more competitive. They usually maximize all chances to win rummikub game. With many possibilities of each chance, there is a big amount of luck involved for every player at a table. The difference between the beginner player and the master player are that the master takes all chances to win the game even if he or she is on bad luck. If the master has good luck, he or she will win a rummikub game with more large scores than the beginner.
A rummikub's set has a pool of 106 tiles, include two joker tiles and 104 number tiles. Values of the number tiles are from one to thirteen in red, blue, yellow and black. Each color of the tiles is in two sets with number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 and 13. Combination of the number and the color is represented twice. Each player can plays the game with the four jokers in two decks and 52 standard playing cards in two decks. The game is available in the holding of 106 tiles for four people. It is a way to make it easier to store the tiles and play the game. A player can has four racks in the holding will hold up to 24 tiles.
There are three versions of the rummikub game:
1. American rummikub. It is simplest of all rummikub's versions and similar to traditional rummy games.
2. Sabra rummikub. This version requires the extra manipulation that causes it a bolder version with aggressive strategy. With this version, you will play fast and furious because it has a strict time limitation.
3. International rummikub. This version requires those who have high skill and good experience. And be a high challenge to win the game.
In the first move, a player must plays the game set for value of at least 30 points. Each tile played, a player takes point values. Tiles of other players may not be used for making the first 30 points or more. Each player's first move is called as the initial meld. After the player made the initial meld, he can plays one or some tiles from his rack. If the player is unable to play any tiles, he must take a tile from the pool and add it to the rack. After it, proceeds to other player.
Before starting the initial meld, players can accumulate as many as tiles. For the early level of a rummikub game, a player can has extra tiles. Master players usually dispense with the one tile rule in order to speed playing and add extra level of the game strategy. The one tile rule is that a player who is unable to play, can takes extra tiles from the pool.
A rummikub game usually continues until a player runs out all tiles in the rack. Or no player can continues a valid playing. Or a winner declares his victory.
