A holiday to Cambridge with the family will more than likely include parks of some kind. The Wandlebury Country Park and Nature Reserve is a great place to visit. The park is a place that the entire family can go to and learn about the different things around the reserve. They also have classes and events you can participate in while you are there. The activities that they plan for you to do are interesting and educational in a fun way. It is not going to school, you actually have an interest in what they are saying and explaining to you.
The theme park known as Wicksteed Theme Park is a special place to take the family. The park has different areas for the kids and adults to enjoy. The different areas are the fairgrounds, arena, lakeside and the playground. The playground is a magical place for the kids to play while the adults relax. The eateries next to the playground are The Sandcastle and The Oak Tree. There is also a pirate ship that all the kids will love exploring. This area is exciting for the kids and makes for a nice relaxing time for the parents.
At the fairgrounds, you will see the Roundabouts, Mini Jets, Doggems and the Astroglide as well as the newer Rocking Tug, Wicky's Inflatable and so many different games. The fairgrounds are one of the places where young and old
have an exciting time. The rides are fun and the games are enjoyable no matter how old you might be at the time. There is a arcade on the fairgrounds as well. The entire family will enjoy the excitement of this park. The lakeside area has rowboats for the big lake and smaller boats for the kid's lake and bumper boats.
This place has everything to make your water theme parks dreams come true. The Nautic Jets and the Waterchute are amazing. The monorail is located in this area as well as the Sandpit, splashing seals and the aviaries. The family will enjoy spending the entire day in this theme park. You will want to spend another day at the arena where you will find the racing cars, roller coaster and other fast rides. The racing cars are fun as they top out at fifteen miles an hour. The idea is fun and everyone enjoys a trek around the track.
With all these parks to visit when you are enjoying your holiday in Cambridge, you will have little time to sleep. You will want to get out and enjoy some of the other things that there is to do in the area. The restaurants are mostly family friendly, but there are cafes and restaurants that have kid's menus, which make it easier to feed the entire family. The nightlife is a little fast, but you should still take an evening walk to see the beautiful lights around the city. It does like up very nicely and looks very different from the daytime.
